Mitchell Messina has been in the educational field for more than 27 years - as teacher, principal and circuit manager. For the past fourteen years he has been an education consultant assisting South African schools to improve the quality of teaching and learning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Education degree (Cum Laude). Since 2000 he has been involved with Dr. William Glasser, a world-renowned psychiatrist and developer of Choice Theory, Reality Therapy, Quality Schools and Lead Management. Mitchell currently serves on the William Glasser International (WGI) board where he is representing South Africa and 14 other countries. As a Faculty Member of WGI he offers Basic Intensive and Practicum Training in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy. He is also the president of the Association for Choice Theory - South Africa (ACT-SA) which is an affiliate of the William Glasser International.
